Bikram Yoga is an authentic, therapeutic hatha yoga system. Come and do a Bikram Yoga class to experience what all the fuss is about and be taught by Sydney’s top Bikram teachers. Our 90 minute class consists of two sets of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. The first set of each posture is a warm up and opportunity to explore how you are feeling, the second set is an opportunity to go deeper. The first hour of the class is the ‘standing series’ where you will work mostly on balance, concentration and stamina. The last half hour is the ‘floor series’ where the postures will energize and rejuvenate you using breath and stillness with the added bonus of savasana taken between each posture. Be prepared to use your whole body, work up a sweat and walk away feeling invigorated, enlivened and incredibly calm.
