An intensive for teachers & dedicated students. The shoulders are an integral part of a vinyasa practice, and they can be trained or tortured, depending on how we approach the practice. We'll look at the anatomy of the shoulders and how to efficiently stabilize the shoulder girdle for weight bearing postures, learning how to utilize the shoulder girdle in a therapeutic way in our vinyasa practice. By learning how to stabilize the shoulder we also prepare ourselves for more advanced postures that require the arms to bear weight. This is an all levels class for beginners and seasoned practitioners as well as an essential class for teachers. This class will be mostly lecture and interactive demonstrations.
